Lacation Diet: Day-1

Weight: 167lb.

Breakfast: Oatmeal, fermented tofu, bean sprouts, baco-bits, chinese pickles, 1 egg.
It tasted depressing.  I mixed it all up in a cereal bowl and sprinkled baco-bits on the top.  I hoped that it would taste like jook (chinese rice porridge).  But it was too thick and paste like.  Next time I will take a picture of it so you get an idea of what I'm doing.

Lunch: Oxtail Stew
There wasn't enough of the stew.  I was still hungry.  Maybe it was because of the lack of chewing action?  I had brought an apple to work to snack on.  I finished the apple pretty quickly and still had the desire to eat.  Ultimately I ended up snacking on the chocolate that someone had brought in for the new years.  With each piece of chocolate I ate, I thought about how I was killing my diet.  Then near the end of the day I munched on some crackers.  I think I need to bring more healthy snacks to work.  Or maybe bring more food?

Dinner: Pork Spareribs + Brown Rice + Microwaved Cabbage
By the time I arrived home with the baby, there was no energy left to cook.  Good thing my husband is skilled enough to toss the defrosted ribs in some soy sauce and throw it into the oven.  By the time I finished feeding the baby, our dinner was ready.  Yea, it was a pretty pathetic looking dinner, but I think it covered the basic food groups right?
